Moms are the strongest and most selfless group of people I know; they give selflessly, their work never ends, even when they are sick, so they deserve a lot of grace, support, and encouragement.
Repeat after me: “I carried, delivered, and cared for a little human or two or three so I can do anything, overcome any challenges life throws at me.”
Those of you who are settling for jobs that don’t value and appreciate you because you think that’s the best you can do.
“ I am a mom, a teacher, a professional driver, a chef, a janitor, a nurse, a personal shopper, and a fixer. I have years of experience and have never been fired from these positions. Any company would be lucky to have me on their team.”
Moms, when life seems to be moving too fast, and you feel overwhelmed by it all, don’t be afraid to reach out to other moms and get the support you need. Even superhuman needs a little help sometimes.
